Some times it helps to know others share the same emotions. It helps me too knowing that I'm not weird or off the wall. I think that's why I write these kind of posts - hoping someone else out there identifies with what I am going through. Gabika - you're right - the best thing to have is love. Even the proverbs say that 'better is a little with peace than a huge party with fighting'. (my translation!) Love your new blog. Sandy – thanks for writing. Wow ! Honestly...reading that was pretty touching . I didn't know it was like that for Michael, and yet for him to say that he'd rather be himself than any of his friends was just.. wow ! Sometimes i look at my friends, and i'll just go ahead and say that they're all so spoiled sometimes it blows my mind how much the parents just give to them for nothing lol, but like.. when i look at them and compare myself to them it makes me feel like so much less and then i start to wonder why can't my life be like there's .. and you know,those kind of thoughts flood my mind. But then when i've thouroughly thought things through i realise that i would still rather be myself then be one of them... i am blessed with more than any of them could ever have ! I have the most amazing family.. immediate and extended that i love more than anything in the world,every single one of them is there for me and set good examples.. while my friends familys are broken up and left in pieces struggling to find love from one another. I can't always have what i want, and lately i don't get anything at all.. because of the tough times we are going through.. but i've learned that through anything i always have something that i get alot of.. it's LOVE :) And it's the greatest thing i could have, and i could get !
