Not mad…yet

Lord Byron said

If I don’t write to empty my mind, I go mad.

I haven’t written a post in a while, nor have I had much success writing creatively for the course I’m taking. I think I’m still sane, though. But only time will tell…

For me, blogging  helps put on paper the many thoughts going through my mind. I find I express myself the best through the written word; better in fact than verbally. It helps me process those thoughts as well as reflections on life, culture, and faith that flood my heart and mind.

Sometimes I think blogging is merely mental burping – a written release caused by a full mind. Don’t you agree? Maybe you blog, and concur. Maybe you read blogs, and concur.

To keep my sanity in check, I hope to bur…blog again soon.

  1. @Bonnie – would you have 5 minutes a day to write something, anything? Even if it’s only “I have five minutes and have no idea where to begin…”. LOL! It is therapeutic. May the Lord give you strength and joy as you minister to your family is this self-less, sacrificial way.

@Dorinda – and saved you a heap of $$, too! I’ve found a combination of writing/journaling, exercise, and good devo/worship times helps keep emotional fallouts to a minimum.

  2. you just saved me a trip to the mental health clinic!!

That’s what’s wrong with me!!!!! 😀 mental indigestion! ha!

Thank you for putting a smile on my face today.
I sure hope all works out for June!

must make note to self. “blog. blog. blog. blog.”

  3. I haven’t bur… uh… blogged as much as I need to lately. Maybe that’s why I feel like I am going mad – Or maybe it’s just STRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! from living with 6 grandkiddos and taking care of an invalid MIL. LOL!

Either way – I need to write more. 🙂 Thanks for your post today. It made me smile.

    Blessings
    Bonnie
